If you need a billing service, please use the “Biller Search” feature on the Healthcare Billing and Management Association Web site. Click on the green dollar bill icon in the Quick Links section of the home page. Choose your state, and select “Psychology” as the specialty (master's level clinicians should select “Psychology”, not “Mental Health”). This will return a list of billing companies who will welcome your business. Psychiatrists and advanced practice nurses should select “Psychiatry”. If the list is too short, remove the state and search nationwide. Many HBMA billing companies operate in multiple states.
